- Reason for Being Hated: People think of her as dead weight, she replaces Winry as the center female character, she’s more-or-less Ed’s love interest, she loves Ed, she gets in the way of shipping (though it’s debatable whether Ed liked her or not), she’s the damsel-in-distress, she’s a Mary Sue to some, and fans see her as annoying for being “helpless”.
People who think this are dumb. Rose represents the innocence of humanity that people who seek power destroy and kill. You guys realize where that baby came from, right? SHE WAS RAPED BY AMESTRIAN SOLDIERS. She wasn’t meant to replace Winry. She was meant to break your heart. Also, she’s not at all important in the manga/Brotherhood. People are dumb.
